As a Holistic Nutritionist, my mission is to educate, motivate and empower my clients to achieve optimal health and lead healthier, happier, symptom-free lives by:

– Identifying and addressing sensitivities and deficiencies, while removing any necessary obstacles so that the body is able to heal itself.

– Creating healthy lifestyles and routines, while clearing out what’s not working for you

– Creating simple, nutrient-dense meals and snacks that boost energy, mood and focus

– Managing stress and optimizing digestion

I am especially interested in the gut-brain (mind-body) connection and am always expanding and refining my knowledge to better serve my clients.

Nutritional Assessments and follow ups. At your Initial Assessment, which will be 90 minutes, we will go over your competed dietary, lifestyle, and health history forms (emailed to you upon booking), discuss your concerns and goals and begin to map out a personalized action plan; with a few recommendations to begin incorporating into your routine. At your first follow up (45 minutes) we will go into more detail about the information in your forms and provide further recommendations tailored to your specific situation and preferences. We will also address any challenges you encounter and modify your plan as necessary. Additional follow up sessions are to review progress and modify recommendations to c0mpliment where you’re at in your journey.

As a recent graduate from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition from their two year Holistic Nutritionist program and a background in yoga teacher training, I understand and appreciate the need for balance in proper nutrition as well as lifestyle, and have integrated my knowledge of yoga and holistic nutrition to serve my clients and create individualized plans based on their biochemical individuality, person lifestyle and preferences to help them achieve their goals. After all, you can eat all the nutrient dense foods you want, but if you are stressed out or suffer from incomplete digestion, you are not assimilating all that good stuff.

In my spare time you can find me expanding my knowledge on nutrition and wellness, practicing my own wellness routines such as yoga, meditation, trying new recipes, walks with my dog and unplugging in nature.
