Sports massage is an essential part of any athletes training regime, whether you are a recreational athlete, or someone who is working towards a specific training goal such as a higher level of competition or a marathon.
There are three basic parts to proper sports massage treatment: On-going or Training treatment, Pre-event treatment, and Post-event treatment. These treatments will specifically work with each athletes goals to help maximize the enjoyment of their activity while minimizing the risks of injury. Your therapist will also help educate you on the importance of stretching as it relates to your chosen activity, as well as self care that will compliment your treatments.
