Summer is around the corner and so are weekends full of vacations, weddings, and fun summer activities.

Here are 6 tips to get you work-week ready after a big weekend of summer fun:

You spent all weekend walking, dancing, swimming, golfing etc. and now your body is SORE! Doing some light stretching Sunday will help ease muscle soreness so you can start Monday off FRESH.

Lie on a flat surface for 2 minutes, followed by bending your knees and letting them fall to one side for a twist. Stretching your leg muscles, foot arches, and hips will help your body recover faster. Finish by lying on your back with your legs up the wall; this will assist in flushing out waste from the lower legs.

Chances are, you indulged in some activity that causes dehydration during the weekend (drinking alcohol, being active in the heat, getting out of routine). It is important to replace the water you lost for optimal body and mind functioning.

Drink 3-5 water bottles of water on Sunday to prepare your body for Monday!

Do you have a bath tub? Have a bath with Epsom salts in it!

The warm water mixed with the salt helps relax sore muscles, flush toxins from the body, and relaxes the nervous system.

Don’t have enough time? Try a 10 minutes foot bath!

Can’t stop thinking of all the things you need to do in the coming week? Make a to do list!

Writing down all of the things you need to accomplish, will allow your brain to feel organized and satisfied.
